My wife bet me $20 the air fryer couldn't reheat pizza without making it soggy, she lost
We had leftover pepperoni from Lombardi's on a Tuesday and she said it would turn into cardboard in the air fryer. I put 2 slices in at 350 for 4 minutes and the bottom got crispy while the cheese melted just right. She paid up and now she wants me to do it for her slices too. Has anyone tried this with thicker crust pizza or does it burn the top before the middle heats up?
How thick are we talking here, like a deep dish or just a regular hand tossed? Thicker dough needs more time but the top will dry out if you leave it too long, so maybe try 325 instead of 350 to give the middle a chance to catch up. Flip it halfway through too, that trick saved my sicilian slice from turning into a brick.
