Tell me exactly how they did it! Did they just soak pickle slices in the leftover brine and then air fry them? I tried something similar with jarred jalapenos once but they got too soggy. What kind of breading or coating did your friend use to make them crispy? I need the step-by-step because my last attempt was a total fail.

My friend swears by a double dip in flour and panko. The key is patting the pickles bone dry before you start. I let mine sit on a rack for ten minutes after the brine soak.
