Hit 100 air fryer recipes this week

Didn't realize I'd tried that many. Started keeping a list in a notebook back in March. Made a buffalo cauliflower batch yesterday that finally got the timing right. Anyone else track their recipes or just wing it?

Yeah the buffalo cauliflower is tricky to nail down.

Started keeping a thermometer log alongside my recipe notes. Found out my air fryer runs 25 degrees hotter than what I set it to. Little stuff like that makes a difference, especially with chicken where you need it to hit temp without drying out.

Oh man, that's actually a really smart thing to do! But quick heads up - most air fryers are calibrated to run hotter than what you set, not cooler, so yours is actually pretty normal. That 25 degree thing is super common, especially on the cheaper models.

You got a thermometer log and all that? C'mon, it's an air fryer not a science lab. I just set it to 360 and hope for the best. My chicken comes out fine, maybe a little dry sometimes but whatever. Buffalo cauliflower though, that's one you gotta watch close. I burned two batches before I figured out 12 minutes is the sweet spot. Thermometer logs and temp calibrating just feels like overthinking a hot box that blows air on food.
