Appreciation post: my air fryer saved me during a rough week
Honestly last week was one of those weeks where everything went wrong. My crew had a pipe burst in a basement on Tuesday and we were there until 9 PM fixing it. I got home too tired to even think about cooking a real meal. So I just tossed some frozen chicken tenders and fries in the air fryer. 15 minutes later I had a hot dinner that actually tasted good instead of being soggy like in the oven. It reminded me of how my grandma used to fry everything in a cast iron pan with inches of oil. Tbh I used to think air fryers were just a fad but that night I was grateful I got one. Has anyone else had a rough day where your air fryer came through for you?

A frozen meal in an air fryer counts as "saving you" now? That's a pretty low bar. My toaster can heat up a hot pocket and I don't write a thank you note to it. But hey, if a basket of hot air and a timer is what got you through, more power to you. Just don't act like it performed open heart surgery or something.

No disrespect, but I think you're missing the point... it's not about the air fryer being a miracle worker, it's about having a tool that makes life a little easier when you're completely wiped out. After a 12 hour day fixing a busted pipe, having a hot meal in 15 minutes without any cleanup is a big deal in that moment. Sometimes the small wins are what keep you going through a rough week, that's all I'm saying.
