Am I the only one who air fries daily to stick to my diet goals?

I swear by my air fryer for keeping my eating clean without the hassle. For instance, I toss broccoli in a tiny bit of oil and get it crispy in minutes, way better than soggy steamed veggies. My coworker brags about her salad lunches, but my air-fried chicken strips keep me full and happy. Since I started, I've cut down on takeout because I can make a healthy dinner fast. It's not just about losing weight, my skin cleared up from eating less greasy food. If you're trying to eat better but hate bland food, you need to use your air fryer more.

Actually, what gets me is how the air fryer cuts down on food guilt too. Like, I'll buy a bunch of veggies, forget about them, and they go soft. But tossing them in with some spices makes them edible again, so I don't feel bad wasting food. @paigew35 is right about saving cash, but it's also about not throwing stuff away. I made crispy kale stems last week that would've gone in the trash, and they were weirdly good. It turns 'healthy eating' into a game of using what you have, which keeps me on track way more than any strict diet plan.

My air fryer is basically a kitchen appliance I would hug if it wasn't weird (and also very hot). It tricked me into liking vegetables because everything comes out crispy, not sad and limp. I used to think my diet was over if I wanted fries, but now I just toss a potato in there. The amount of money I've saved on delivery pizza alone could probably buy a second air fryer. It's the only reason my "healthy eating" plans ever stick past a Tuesday.

Remember it's still fried food if you use a lot of oil.
