Air fryer Brussels sprouts had me converted after hating them for 30 years

My sister swore her air fryer made them crispy not mushy, I called BS until I tried a batch at 400°F for 12 minutes with a splash of balsamic - who else thought something was a fad but it actually worked?

Right, because clearly the solution to 30 years of hating Brussels sprouts was just buying another kitchen gadget. I'm sure my grandmother's stovetop method of boiling them into sad little gray orbs was the real problem here, not the vegetable itself. Guess I'll have to drag my air fryer out of the cupboard and join the cult of crispy cruciferous converts. Consider me a skeptic who's been thoroughly bamboozled by hot air and a splash of vinegar.

Tossed a bag of frozen Brussels sprouts in mine with olive oil and salt. 375 for 15 minutes. Came out with crispy edges and soft centers. Not a single sad gray orb in sight. I ordered a second air fryer the next day.
