Why AI meal planners don't work for my cooking style

I used an AI app to plan meals for the week, and it gave me ideas that my kids would not eat. Lots of people praise these apps, but I believe they skip the human part of cooking that makes food good. Do you have similar thoughts on AI in the kitchen?

Netflix's algorithm probably just sees cartoons and thinks "kids stuff," but that misses the point completely. It doesn't understand tone or context, just tags and what other people watch. These systems are kind of dumb when you realize they can't tell a friendly monster from a scary one. Makes you wonder what other basic mistakes it's making with suggestions. They really need to fix that gap between data and real meaning.
