Those new car smells aren't organic. They pump chemicals into the cabin to make it seem fresh. Walked past a detailer's van once and saw the bottles. Stuff called "new car scent" straight up in a spray can. It's all marketing smoke and mirrors.

And they probably charge an extra $500 for that chemical spray.
