Vent: Chose the AI note tapper over doing it by hand, now my meeting notes read like gibberish
I had to pick between using an AI meeting recorder or typing notes myself for this 3 hour client review in Austin. I went with the AI tool since it was free and I was running late, but it kept mixing up who said what and made up whole sentences about 'synergy' that nobody said. Now I'm stuck fixing a transcript that looks like it was written by a robot on coffee, and I lost 45 minutes editing it anyway. Should I just go back to pen and paper, or is there a decent AI note app that actually gets voices right? Has anyone else had this mess happen with a 'smart' transcription tool?
Written by a robot on coffee" is pretty much every AI transcript I've seen. Honestly though, I'd rather spend 45 minutes fixing a messy draft than sit there typing every word myself for 3 hours. Pen and paper means you miss half of what people say anyway, especially when they talk over each other.
