Showerthought: An AI picture maker sped up my tabletop game setup
In my experience, getting ready for game night used to eat up my free time. I could never find the right images for all the places in our story. Your mileage may vary, but I found a free AI that makes pictures from words. Now, I just type something like 'rusty robot in a junkyard' and it makes a custom image. Take this with a grain of salt, but it saves me hours of looking online. My friends think the game feels more alive with these quick visuals. It's a simple hack that let me focus more on the fun parts.

Found that adding time of day to prompts, like 'sunset junkyard,' cuts down on edits.

Remember completely messing up a photoshoot last year by forgetting the time of day, @betty213. The client wanted a cozy bookstore vibe and I shot it at high noon, looked all harsh and wrong. Now I plan the light first, it saves so much headache.

But what if planning light first takes away the fun? I mean, some of my best shots happened when I just went with the flow and used whatever light was there. Idk, maybe too much planning just makes things harder instead of easier.
