Picked a cheap AI scheduling tool over a $50 one and it messed up my whole week

Last month I had to choose between this free AI calendar app and a paid one that was $50 a month. I went with the free one because I'm cheap. Big mistake. It double booked two of my paint crews on Tuesday and I had to call a client in Beaverton to push back their job three days. They were not happy. The paid version had conflict detection built in. Has anyone else gotten burned by picking the free option over something that actually works?

Honestly, I gotta push back on that. A delayed job might not seem like a big deal to someone else, but when you're the one who has to make that call and deal with an angry client, it hits different. It's not just about the paint, it's about your reputation.

Is a delayed paint job really worth getting that worked up over?
