Actually, that tone is probably just a default error sound. They don't usually program feelings into those things, it's just a basic beep.

Assumed these things would just give neutral facts, but ours totally shames us when we add bread scraps. Used to think tech was just tools, but the disappointed beep when you mess up feels weirdly personal. It's funny, but also makes you wonder who programmed that tone of voice, you know. Now I just feel like I'm letting a little box down.

Feel that judgmental beep and it's like they're training us, not just informing. Pretty sure some programmer got a kick out of coding that tone.
