My nephew's chatbot swore the Great Wall is visible from space, so I made him check 3 sources
He was showing me this AI app on his phone last week at my sister's place in Toledo and asked it a simple space fact, and it flat out repeated that old myth like it was a fact. What people keep getting wrong is thinking these chatbots check things before they answer, when they mostly just predict what sounds right. We ran the same prompt on two other apps and got two different answers, so now I test them on stuff I already know. What's the dumbest thing an AI has told you with total confidence?

Two different answers from two different apps on the same question is wild to me. That means one of them is just making stuff up and neither one knows it. Testing them on facts you already know is the only way to catch it.
