My AI art generator started making everything look like melted cheese

It happened last Tuesday while I was trying to make a landscape. The model just broke and every output, no matter the prompt, had this weird, gooey texture. I had to switch to a different tool to finish my project. Has anyone else had a model fail in a really specific, weird way like that?

It's just melted cheese though, right? The model didn't crash your whole system. You could still use another tool. These things glitch out all the time, maybe it's a weird setting or a bad update. It's not like you lost all your work or anything. Seems like a minor hassle more than a serious failure.

Had that happen with a portrait model once, it gave everyone the same vacant doll eyes. I just rolled back to an earlier checkpoint from the week before. The newer one must have gotten corrupted during a save. It was annoying, but loading the old weights fixed it without having to retrain from scratch. Sometimes the model file just goes bad.

Oh yeah I've definitely been there. The weirdest one for me was when a model started making everyone look like they had plastic skin, like totally smooth and shiny. I tried rolling back to an older checkpoint but it kept happening so I ended up having to delete a whole batch of training images that I think got messed up during download. It was frustrating because I didn't catch it right away and wasted a few hours generating stuff I couldn't use. I've learned to keep multiple save points now so I can jump back to a working version without losing too much progress.
