Just realized my AI art prompts were way too vague after someone roasted them

I was in a Discord server for AI image generators and this one dude kept telling me my prompts were trash lol. He said I was typing stuff like 'cyberpunk city' and getting random blurry messes. So I tried his advice and added specific details like 'neon signs reflecting on wet asphalt at midnight with a single figure in a trench coat'. The difference was insane, like night and day. Has anyone else had a random stranger fix their whole workflow with one comment?

Oof yeah I feel this in my soul. My first like 50 prompts were basically 'pretty girl with blue hair' and wondered why everything looked like a wet watercolor mess. One person told me to add 'octane render, 8k, volumetric lighting' and suddenly my anime girls actually looked like real people. Felt like I went from drawing stick figures to taking professional photos overnight.
