Hit 1000 stable diffusion generations last night and felt weird about it

I was just cleaning up my hard drive when I saw the folder count. 1,042 images generated over about 4 months. Most of them are garbage hands and twisted faces, but maybe 30 came out actually decent. It surprised me how much time I dumped into tweaking prompts without even realizing it. Has anyone else hit a random milestone in their AI art experiments that made you stop and think?

1 out of every 3 or 4" is wild. I'd take that trade any day.

Man I gotta be honest I see this completely different. 1000 generations and only 30 decent ones? That seems like a crazy low hit rate. Youre basically sorting through a mountain of trash for a handful of ok pics. Ive been messing with Midjourney for maybe 2 months and I get like 1 out of every 3 or 4 that looks good enough to keep. Maybe its the model youre using or your prompts are too complicated. Those twisted hands and melting faces happen when you cram too many weird keywords in there. Keep it simple. A good prompt is 5 or 6 words max. Youre overthinking it.
