Am I the only one who saw an AI write my Grandpa's birthday toast at a party in Sacramento
My cousin pulled out her phone at my grandpa's 80th birthday in Sacramento and typed in 3 details about him, then let an AI ghostwrite the toast. It got the fishing stories and his old truck right, and people were laughing and crying at the same time. Here's the weird part: it took maybe 20 seconds, and nobody at the table could tell it wasn't my cousin's own words. It got me thinking about how cheap good writing just became, and whether that helps or hurts the people who do it for real. Has anyone else watched an AI nail something personal like that in front of a crowd?
