The hotel blackout curtain changed my whole nap game
Stayed at the Marriott in Portland last weekend for a wedding and their blackout curtains plus the quiet floor made me sleep 90 minutes solid, which never happens at home. I always thought my bedroom was dark enough, but that total darkness knocked me out way faster. Came home and ordered a roll of blackout liner for like $25 and taped it over my window. Has anyone else found that light blocking makes a bigger difference than timing or alarms?
Bought the same thing after a trip last year and it was a game changer for me too. Turns out my street light was glowing through the blinds just enough to keep me half awake all night. Now I sleep through the whole night instead of waking up at every light change outside.
