Serious question, did I waste $70 on a fancy nap pillow that made my neck worse?
I bought one of those contoured travel nap pillows for $70 at an airport shop in Denver because I thought it would fix my desk naps. Used it for a week, and my neck hurt so bad I had to stop napping at work completely. Turns out the curve pushed my chin up and I woke up with a crick every single time. My old rolled up hoodie works better and costs nothing. Anyone found a nap pillow that actually helps, or is this just a scam for tired people?
You said the curve pushed your chin up, which is the exact thing that wrecked me too. So here's what I want to know, when your chin got pushed up, did your head also tip forward so your neck had to hold it there the whole nap? Because that's what mine did, and by minute 20 my whole upper back was screaming. A rolled up hoodie doesn't do that since you can squish it into whatever shape your neck actually wants. Did you try the pillow turned around backwards before you gave up on it, or did you just toss it in a drawer?
