Trying to find the name of that weird 90s cartoon with the blue dog took me three days
I had this vague memory of a cartoon about a blue dog who solved mysteries, but I could not remember the name for anything. I kept thinking it was 'Blue's Clues' but that's a different show. I spent hours searching online with bad keywords like 'blue dog cartoon 90s' and got nowhere. Finally, my older brother visited and I described it to him. He just said, 'Oh, you mean 'Blue's Clues'? No, wait... that's the puppy. Hmm.' That wrong guess actually helped me search better. I found it later that night, it was 'The Adventures of Dudley the Dragon', and the blue dog was a side character named 'Sally'. What obscure 90s show did you totally forget the name of?

Was it that one with the weird puppet cat? I had the same thing happen with a show about a rock band of animals. Forgot it for YEARS, then it hit me out of nowhere. The brain is so weird about those old kid shows.

Yeah, I gotta ask @jamieperez, what was the deal with that puppet cat? Was it one of those fuzzy Muppet style things or more like a creepy hand puppet that barely moved? I had a similar brain glitch with a show about a train that could talk. For like fifteen years I kept thinking I dreamed it until I found a grainy YouTube clip. The brain stores that random stuff in the weirdest places, man.

Yeah, my friend had that same "weird puppet cat" thing happen to @jamieperez, but with a show about a singing pizza. It drove him nuts until he randomly saw a clip online.
