Tried showing my kid Goosebumps, ended up hiding behind my own hands

I put on the Werewolf of Fever Swamp episode with my 9 year old last Friday, thinking it would be a fun throwback, but I got way more jumpy than she did and she kept laughing at me. Did anyone else find those old episodes hit way different as a parent than as a kid back in 95?
