The week Nickelodeon ran a 'Kenan & Kel' marathon instead of new episodes
It was summer '98 and I was 10, waiting all week for new shows. Instead, they played the same 6 episodes on a loop. I remember my brother yelling 'Who loves orange soda?' for the 50th time. That whole week felt like a weird joke, no new 'Rugrats' or 'Hey Arnold' either. It made me realize how much we relied on those shows back then. Anyone else have a TV week that just felt totally off?

Remember when Cartoon Network did that with Powerpuff Girls reruns? I got so bored I dug out my old Game Boy Color, the one with the weird purple shell. Beating Pokemon Red again was way better than watching Mojo Jojo lose for the hundredth time. I get what wesleyburns means about the fun wearing off fast. Sometimes you just need to switch the screen off and find something else to do.

Man, I always thought those marathons were a fun treat. That week changed my mind hard. Seeing the same Kel bit over and over made it feel like the network just gave up, and missing out on new cartoons was a real bummer.
