Stopped by the old Blockbuster building in my town yesterday
I was driving through the plaza on Maple Street where our Blockbuster used to be, and it's a vape shop now. The whole parking lot felt sad, like a ghost of Friday night movie runs with my dad. Anyone else get weirdly emotional seeing what replaced their old video store?

Wait, are we really supposed to feel bad about a vape shop? I mean, I get missing the old Blockbuster, but those places were already dying a slow death by the time they closed. The last time I went to my local one, it was all dusty shelves and a sad little candy rack. I'd rather walk into a clean vape shop with bright lights and actually buy something than wander around a empty movie rental place that smells like old carpet. Plus, the one by my house was always out of the new releases anyway, so you'd drive there for nothing. It's just different times, you know?

You ever walk into a vape shop and get that weird chemical berry smell? It's like walking into a candy factory that exploded. But yeah, Blockbuster was rough at the end. I remember going to rent a game once and the guy told me they only had two copies of Madden left and they were both scratched to hell. Different times for sure.
