My VCR chewed up my Nick tapes last Tuesday and I'm done pretending taping shows was worth it
Everyone in this group acts like recording cartoons on VHS was some magical thing, but last Tuesday my old Panasonic ate half of my tape with the Rocko's Modern Life marathon I taped in 1997 off Nick. It got wrapped around the roller at the 2 hour mark and I had to take the whole thing apart on my kitchen table in Berwyn with a butter knife to save the rest. I keep seeing people get all misty about their tape stacks, but honestly, losing the last 20 minutes of an episode because the tracking went bad was not a good trade. Did anyone else's tapes always die right when you taped something you actually cared about?
