My cousin said 'Hey Arnold!' was too sad for a kids show and it stuck with me
We were at a family thing last weekend and my cousin, who's a teacher now, said she rewatched some episodes. She pointed out the one where Helga's mom is always painting and ignoring her, and said 'That show dealt with real stuff no other cartoon touched.' It made me go back and watch a few, and she's totally right. Did any other 90s shows hit you differently as an adult?
