I spent way too much on a box set of 'The Secret World of Alex Mack' that was basically empty

I mean, I found it at a flea market last summer for like $60, thinking it was the whole series. Got home and it was just the first two discs with a bunch of blank ones. The guy was long gone by then. Maybe it's just me but I feel like 90s show collectors need to watch out for that kind of thing. Has anyone else gotten burned on a bad DVD set?

Oh my gosh, sixty bucks for blank discs? That's brutal! What a total scam, I'd be so mad.

That whole situation makes you wonder if the seller even knew. Sometimes those old flea market boxes get passed around so many times, the original scam gets lost in the shuffle. The person you bought it from might have gotten ripped off first and just never checked the discs. Still a total bummer to be out the money though.
