Found a stack of old VHS tapes in my parents' attic labeled 'Saturday Morning'
I was helping them clean out the house in Toledo last month and pulled down a dusty box. It was full of tapes with handwritten labels like 'X-Men, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Batman TAS'. My mom recorded them off the TV for me every week. Watching that grainy footage with the old commercials felt like a time machine. Does anyone else still have their old recorded tapes, or did they all get tossed?

Oh man, hard disagree there - those tapes are literally the definition of clutter, taking up space for decades just to film a blurry copy of something you can stream in 4K right now. I finally tossed all mine last spring and haven't missed them for a second, the nostalgia hit is way overrated when you're just tripping over boxes of dusty plastic in your garage. I'd say digitize a couple clips for the memory and recycle the rest before your parents' attic turns into a hoarder episode lol.
