Boy Meets World was better when it got serious, fight me
I used to skip the heavy episodes as a kid, but after rewatching season 5 on Disney Plus last month, I realized Cory and Shawn dealing with real stuff like Shawn's dad leaving hit way harder than any gag. The comedy was fine, but those 10 or so dramatic moments are what actually stuck with me at 34. Am I the only one who thinks the show peaked when it stopped being just a goofy sitcom?
