Bought the complete VHS set of a so-called classic, wish I hadn't
I dropped $80 on the full Rugrats VHS collection from the 90s at a flea market in Akron because everyone online treats it like gold. Got home and realized these tapes were recorded off TV, not official releases, so the quality is terrible and some episodes cut off mid-plot. I sort of get the nostalgia factor, but people hype this show way too much when it's just babies screaming for 22 minutes. For 80 bucks I could've gotten three actual good shows on DVD or even a new streaming box. Has anyone else been burned by overpriced old media that doesn't live up to the memory?
